Tree roots fascinate me!  Most of the photographs on these note cards exhibit the elaborate architecture of root systems found in a couple of favorite hiking spots here in the Pacific Northwest:  (1) Mt. Rainier National Park, and (2) the Hoh Rain Forest, a temperate rain forest in the Olympic National Park.  There are two photographs I included in this set even though they're not roots.  Reaching Stillness was taken at Bridges National Park in Southern Utah.  Witnessing Together was taken on a Mt. Rainier hiking-trail.
